The Department of Invertebrate Zoology, Lomonosov Moscow State University, announces the #icim4Moscow workshop dedicated to Comparative Anatomy of Invertebrates will perform from 11th till 17th of August, 2017.
Our workshop is a unique opportunity to be involved in the activities of World famous Russian Zoological School, to practice your dissecting skills and be part of scientific conversations with real experts in the field. So, hurry up to upgrade your knowledge in invertebrate zoology!

Program
Each class includes theory and practice. Theoretical part will cover peculiarities of invertebrates’ morphology, anatomy, histology and ultrastructure. At practical classes students will examine diversity of external morphology of live specimens, learn anatomy via dissection, and study tissue and cell types via observation of histological sections. At the end of the Course there will be a round table where students and teachers will master in comparative anatomy of organizations of examined invertebrates and evaluation their morphological traits in light of accepted theories of evolution and known phylogenetic/ phylogenomic data.
